A nice brand by Google did not live long. Well, Google after all is not that strong in marketing. Shame they have wasted a good domain. Now, one needs to explore live.ly to get a similar jingle.
Google launched the portal on July 8, 2008 and experimented in something similar to Second Life trying to provide people with more ways to express themselves on the Internet. Alas, as of January 1, 2009 it is all close.
The question is for how long? When will we see something live.ly on the web again?
