Monir.ly

Monir

By now, we have seen many interesting and jingly .ly sites, many URL shorteners too (bit.ly of course, followed by adf.ly, ht.ly, ow.ly, 3.ly, ... you name it). So far so good, but this blog never properly discussed the local market. And it is high time for it.

Monir Elhussein opened monir.ly in May this year and in less than four month he nearly made it to Alexa 50k. The site is ranked by Alexa as number 115 in Libya and number 17 .ly globally (being number 5 of those in Arabic).

The list of top 100 .ly sites goes as follows:

bit.ly, adf.ly, ht.ly, ow.ly, ltt.ly, cl.ly, ad.ly, img.ly, ac.ly, doctors.ly, card.ly, om.ly, sns.ly, bnat.ly, page.ly, 3.ly, monir.ly, chart.ly, shms.ly, drp.ly, insight.ly, md.ly, post.ly, embed.ly, libyana.ly, tie.ly, almadar.ly, alfateh-regestor.ly, drivesafe.ly, al-nukhba.ly, ecc.ly, nic.ly, biz.ly, moda.ly, graphic.ly, aljeel.ly, to.ly, tiny.ly, stock.ly, vp.ly, series.ly, friend.ly, fur.ly, jananews.ly, al3nssary.ly, leaf.ly, profit.ly, daralbayan.ly, rana.ly, ok.ly, yourstru.ly, libyat.ly, lsm.ly, trend.ly, dai.ly, nedb.ly, esdf.ly, book.ly, song.ly, hawa.ly, livesimp.ly, iweek.ly, 100.ly, yl.ly, dalel.ly, appsolute.ly, mp3.ly, tv.ly, act.ly, xa.ly, cmp.ly, shopsocial.ly, adapt.ly, noc.ly, football.ly, 333.ly, it.ly, smile.ly, emp.ly, todo.ly, elegant.ly, jm.ly, ical.ly, itg.ly, fun.ly, analytic.ly, leg.ly, domains.ly, creative.ly, trak.ly, sincere.ly, sooqlibya.ly, developer.ly, o.ly, p.ly, jobs.ly, animal-health.ly, pul.ly, 20-8.ly, and wap.ly
